New Family Member!

We ended up taking a new friend home from the mountains!

Meet Kinsey, a young female calico. She arrived at Aunt Joan's house

(someone must have dropped her there)

the night before we arrived. Aunt Joan could not

keep her because of her two dogs and was trying to find

her a home. As fate would have it we were looking for a new cat

it was a PURFECT match!

Potter County, Pa August 2009

After the long 5 hr drive to Potter County we finally

arrived to Aunt Joan's farm

Upon arriving the first activity was to visit and feed her pony Skipper

and horse, Stormy

Aunt Joan keeps nectar on her porch which attracts

about 20 hummingbirds

It is very difficult to get a picture of hummingbirds!
Mom enjoyed spending time on the porch watching them come

and go.

Braedan's first quad ride, watch out doggies!

Mommom, Cheyenne and Jen. Cheyenne was Braedan's

playmate the whole weekend. Lucky for him she is a bit of a

tomboy who enjoys sword fighting and karate

Cheyenne also took Braedan for a ride on her pony Skipper

and was nice enough to saddle him up for him as well

Cheyenne, a champion rider, took Braedan for a spin.

Mommy, a non-champion rider, took a ride on Skipper

after Braedan was done and almost fell off. We did not save any pictures of this!

Luke and his friends Brandi and Herminey enjoyed frolicking on Aunt

Joan's 100's of acres!

Aunt Joan collects horse items so there

were many other non-living horses to play on as well

Upon arriving to the hotel Braedan made sure the

wireless was working properly.
